Apple hosted a special event of September 15 2020 with adding all new Apple Watch and a more powerful, iPad Air. It also launched its Apple One subscriptions that clubs multiple Apple services into one package. With unusually not launching an Iphone in the month of September this year, it is expectedly rumored that it may launch Iphone(s) next month.
Apple Watch Series 6:
The Apple Watch Series 6 has been launched in numerous varieties and has a Blood Oxygen sensor which can detect the blood oxygen level in body within 15 seconds using both red and infrared light. It has the same overall design that was introduced with the Apple Watch Series 4. The new Apple Watch is featured with better sleep tracking features and will be available in stainless steel as well as silver chrome models. Apple also launched a “Solo Loop” edition wherein the watch strap is made from a piece of silicone which can be adjusted and is waterproof. The company also released a new leather strap. Apple also announced a cheaper Watch SE with a bigger display. The company also announced an addition of new feature for the Apple Watch series named Fitness Plus. Apple Watch Series 6 (GPS) begins at Rs 40,900 and Apple Watch Series 6 (GPS + Cellular) begins at Rs 49,900. The cheaper model Watch SE starts from Rs 29,990 in India.
Apple also launched iPad Air with A14 bionic chip that starts from $599 universally. The design looks similar to the iPad Pro. The bezels are thinner and the Touch ID on the new iPad has been switched to the power button. As per the company,this is the smallest Touch ID ever. The new iPad Air comes with a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, along with an A14 Bionic chip set, which is company’s first 5-nano-meter processor. It is equipped with USB type-c for faster data transfers with support for WiFi 6.
Apple one combines the company’s services like iCloud, AppleTV+, Apple Arcade, Apple Music, Apple Fitness+ and Apple News+ into a single subscription pack for a ease of users in the Apple ecosystem.
