In a vedio message posted in.his twitter handle Rajya Sabha MP Anil Baluni said that when he was admitted in a cancer hospital in Mumbai for his treatment he wondered if a common man of Uttarakhand suffering from cancer would ever get such an advance treatment as he was privileged to have? Could he ever get such a treatment, advise, diagnosis or facility of high class surgery ?
He thought that if such high class treatment of cancer is accorded to a common man of Uttarakhand he or shewill not have to wander elsewhere. In order to resolve this complex issue I tried my best to communicate with the Tata Cancer Institute n Tata Trust in order to ensure the best, cheap and result oriented aithentic treatment to cancer patients of Uttarakhand.
Prior to my efforts the previous successive governments have also made their efforts to establish Cancer institute via Tata Trust in Uttarakhand. He added that his government had also signed an MOU with the Tata Trust in this regard. Anil Baluni thanked Ratan Tata for his magnanimity and assurance to eastablish Tata Cancer Institute in Uttarakhand by recommending n instructing his request to the senior officers of Tata Trust.
He expressed his optimism that after the establishment of a world class Tata Cancer hospital in Uttarakhand the patients of cancer hailing from the lowest ebb of the society would be able to get cheap, reliable and top class treatment of cancer instead of running from pillsr to posts and Tata Cancer Institute and Tata Trust is the name of reliability n transparency.
While extending his gratitude on behalf of Uttarakhand, to Ratan Tata, Baluni said that he himself had faced tremendous challenges and come out of this dreaded cancer defeating it finally. I wish every cancer patient is fully treated and comes back home recovered getting a new n fresh lease of life.
